The Tracy Diane dahlia is a stunning and elegant variety bred by Robin Moyser in the UK and introduced in 2019. A sport of the popular 'Winholme Diane,' it is highly prized by florists for its clean, romantic palette and its mesmerizing, symmetrical petal formation—making it a top-tier choice for wedding work and sophisticated floral design.
- Color: White (W) / Lavender. A crisp, pure white base with a delicate "lavender kiss" on the petal tips and reverse. In high summer heat, the blooms may transition to a nearly solid creamy white, maintaining a soft and ethereal look.
- Form: Formal Decorative (FD). Features perfectly arranged, flat-faced petals that create a dense, round, and symmetrical bloom. ADS Classification: 3001 - BB FD W.
- Bloom Size: Small (BB). Blooms typically measure 4 to 4.5 inches (10–11.5 cm) in diameter, a versatile size that offers excellent presence in bridal bouquets without being overly heavy.
- Height: Medium/Tall. Reaches approximately 4 feet (120 cm) in height. It is a robust plant that produces an abundance of long, strong stems throughout the season.
- Performance: Exceptional Cut Flower. Renowned for its "ever-opening" centers that continuously produce petals, giving the blooms a full and lush appearance. It is a reliable and prolific producer, prized for both its garden beauty and its vase longevity.
