The Teesbrooke Audrey dahlia is a charming and romantic variety hybridized by Philip Orley of Great Britain in 1999. Known for its delicate, "fresh-vintage" look and ethereal color shifts, it is a favorite for cottage gardens and soft, airy floral designs.
- Color: Lavender (L) / Pink-White Bicolor. Features a single row of broad, rounded outer petals in soft pastel lilac or pale pink. These surround a neat, contrasting white inner collar of shorter florets and a warm, golden-yellow center.
- Form: Collerette (CO). A beautifully layered, open-centered bloom that is highly attractive to bees and butterflies. ADS Classification: 9009 (often listed as 9015 or 9008 depending on color interpretation).
- Bloom Size: Small (BB). Delicate flowers typically measure between 3 to 4.5 inches (7.5–11 cm) in diameter.
- Height: Medium to Tall. Reaches approximately 3 to 4 feet (90–120 cm) in maturity.
- Performance: Highly Floriferous Pollinator Magnet. Celebrated for being an "easy grower" and a tireless bloomer from mid-summer until the first frost. Its long, strong stems and dainty appearance make it an excellent choice for romantic cut flower arrangement.
