Southern Belle

The Southern Belle dahlia is a sophisticated and charming variety introduced in 2014 by Swan Island Dahlias. It is highly regarded for its romantic, soft tones and exceptional performance as a cut flower, making it a staple for both home gardeners and floral designers.

• Color: Pink (PK) / Coral. A beautiful smokey or dusty coral-pink that often features a shimmering quality in the sunlight. The blooms may age toward a soft peach, adding a warm depth to late-season arrangements.
• Form: Informal Decorative (ID) or Waterlily (WL). While officially classified as an Informal Decorative, it is frequently described as having a waterlily-like appearance with slightly pointed petals that lend it a delicate, star-like grace.
• Bloom Size: Small (BB). Flowers typically reach 4 to 5 inches (10–12.5 cm) in diameter, offering a generous and impactful display.
