Skeena Daybreak

Skeena Daybreak Dahlia was introduced by Medeek Meadows in British Columbia in 2022. It is named in honor of a local egg farm ("Daybreak Farms"), which perfectly captures its "sunny side up", cheerful buttery-yellow color.

Characteristics:

Form: Formal Decorative (FD)—fully double blooms with neatly layered petals in a symmetrical, rounded shape.

Color: Cheerful Buttery Yellow with a kiss of raspberry on the petal tips.

Bloom Size: Approximately 2.5 inches (Perfect "accent bloom" size)

Height: Typically grown around 4 feet

Performance:

• Blooms prolifically from midsummer to frost. Excellent for cutting, with a clean stem and long vase life.
• Praised for being an excellent cut flower, particularly for adding texture and brightness to arrangements. The color may become more intense in cooler, late-season weather.
