Sandia Bliss Dahlia is a breathtaking waterlily-form variety introduced in 2024 by Steve and Sandy Boley of Birch Bay Dahlias. 

Characteristics:

Form: Waterlily (WL). The blooms feature layer upon layer of slightly ruffled petals that gracefully cup in the evening, giving it a sophisticated, lotus-like appearance.

Color: Soft Pink to Light Yellow Blend (Peachy). The color is often described as a muted, creamy blend of rose, light yellow, golden peach, and soft pink hues, sometimes likened to "strawberry lemonade".

Bloom Size: BB (Small) to B (Medium). The reported size varies from 4–6 inches (10-15 cm). 

Height: 3.5–5 feet (40–60 inches or 100–150 cm). It is noted for growing tall on long, strong stems.

Performance:

• Blooms heavily and have an abundance of blooms throughout the season.
• Stems: It produces long, strong stems, which are ideal for professional floral design and bouquets
• Pairing: Its versatile, warm, peachy color palette makes it a natural team player that looks awesome with everything. It adds a beautiful touch of softness and depth. It pairs particularly well with darker, jewel-toned blooms.
• Vase Life: Waterlilies generally have a shorter vase life, its robust structure and strong stems are good indicators for a solid cutting performance.
