The RM October Skies dahlia is a captivating and moody variety introduced by Hailey Sly of River Merle Farm in 2025. It is highly prized for its "atmospheric" color shifts that deepen as the season progresses, mirroring the complex tones of an autumn sunset.

• Color: Peachy-Golden / Soft Pink Blend (LB). Features a soft gradient that starts with creamy peach at the petal edges and transitions into a deeper pink or warm apricot towards the center.
• Form: Ball (BA) or Informal Decorative (ID). Known for its tightly packed petals and rounded, ball-like shape, though some growers classify its shifting petal movement as informal decorative.
• Bloom Size: Medium (BB). Blooms typically measure around 4.5 to 5 inches (11–13 cm) in diameter.
• Height: Tall. A vigorous grower that reaches 5 to 6 feet (150–180 cm) tall, requiring sturdy staking.
