Rhubarb and Custard is a cheerful, striking collarette variety, part of the Sweet Candy Series. The exact year of introduction is not consistently specified but it is a widely available and highly popular cultivar, particularly in the UK.

Characteristics:

Form: Collarette (CO)—The bloom consists of an outer ring of broad ray petals (the "rhubarb") and a small inner ring, or "collar," of shorter, often twisted petals (the "custard"), surrounding a visible, nectar-rich central disc.

Color: Bi-Color/Blend—Outer petals are a beautiful pale peach or soft pink, often flushed with a deeper pink or purple-red at the base, surrounding a creamy white or soft yellow inner collar. The center is typically bright yellow, attracting pollinators.

Bloom Size: Approximately 3 to 6 inches (or 8–15 cm). It can range from Miniature (M) to Small (BB) sizes depending on growing conditions.

Height: Ranges from 2.5 to 4 feet (70 cm to 1.2 meters), with many sources listing it at the mid-range of 70–90 cm, making it suitable for borders and containers.

Performance: A prolific and long-blooming variety that offers continuous colour from mid-summer until the first frost. Its open form makes it an excellent flower for attracting pollinators like bees and butterflies. It works well both in the garden and as a cut flower for whimsical, cottage-style bouquets.

Please note that the listing is for one rooted cutting.
