PK Bloodshot

The PK Bloodshot dahlia is an outstanding and "winsome" variety hybridized by Jess Dell of PK Dahlias. Introduced exclusively for 2026 by Triple Wren Farms through their Novice Hybridizer Program, it is celebrated for its vigorous growth and glowing presence in the garden.

• Color: Dark Pink (DP) / Rosy Pink. Features warm, rosy pink petals covered in a darker rose "watercolor" wash. The petaloids echo this blend, creating a luminous effect that "positively glows".
• Form: Collarette (CO). An open-centered form with a single outer ring of petals surrounding a central disc and an inner ring of smaller petaloids (the collar).
• Bloom Size: Small. Blooms typically measure approximately 5 inches (12.5 cm) in diameter.
• Height: Medium to Tall. Reaches a mature garden height of 3.3 to 4 feet (40–50 inches/100–125 cm).
• Performance: Vigorous and Productive. Noted for its strength and a "sheer mass" of consistent blooms throughout the season. As a seedling of Bloomquist Fruity Drink crossed with Ferncliff Dolly, it is built for garden reliability and cut-flower use.
