Mission Gingersnap

The Mission Gingersnap dahlia is a cheerful and warm variety developed by the legendary Ferncliff Gardens. Named for its resemblance to the classic spiced cookie, it is an ideal choice for gardeners and florists looking for high-yielding, autumn-toned blooms on a vigorous plant.

• Color: Soft Orange. Features a warm, luminous orange-gold that often shows richer "caramel" or butterscotch undertones at the center, perfectly capturing an autumnal palette.
• Form: Waterlily (WL). Defined by elegant, saucer-like blooms with slightly cupped petals that create a symmetrical and balanced appearance. Note: While officially classified as an Informal Decorative (ID) by the ADS, its growth habit is distinctly Waterlily.
• Bloom Size: Miniature to Small (M/BB). Flowers typically range from 3.5 to 4 inches (9–10 cm) in diameter—a versatile, manageable size for detailed floral work.
