Mission Brightest

The Mission Brightest dahlia is a radiant and eye-catching variety introduced by the historic Ferncliff Gardens in Mission, British Columbia. It is celebrated for its exceptionally vivid coloring and tidy form, living up to its name by adding a high-wattage "pop" of color to summer gardens and floral designs. 

• Color: Bright Yellow. Features a clear, intensely saturated sunny-yellow color that remains consistent throughout the petals, often described as one of the brightest yellow in the Mission series.
• Form: Formal Decorative (FD). Boasts full, double blooms with flat, regularly arranged petals that create a clean, symmetrical appearance.
• Bloom Size: Small (BB). Flowers typically range from 4 to 5 inches (10–12.5 cm) in diameter—a versatile size that offers significant visual impact while remaining manageable for bouquets.
• Height: Tall. A vigorous grower that typically reaches 4 to 5 feet (120–150 cm) tall, requiring sturdy staking to support its abundance of blooms.
