Milena Fleur

The Milena Fleur dahlia is a captivating and "shimmery" variety introduced by Peter Komen of the Netherlands in 2018. It is celebrated for its romantic, vintage-inspired appearance and its unique ability to sparkle in the sunlight—making it a favorite for cottage gardens and delicate bridal bouquets.

• Color: Light Blend (LB) / Peach-Pink & Yellow. A soft, tropical blend of coral-pink, apricot, and salmon that fades into a creamy or pale yellow center. The petals are often noted for their iridescent or "glittery" texture that catches the light.
• Form: Waterlily (WL) or Formal Decorative (FD). Most commonly classified as a waterlily type with symmetrical, slightly flattened double blooms that resemble a saucer. ADS Classification: 4406 (Small Decorative Light Blend) or Waterlily depending on the regional registry.
• Bloom Size: Small or Miniature (BB/M). Prolific blooms typically measuring 3 to 4 inches (7.5–10 cm) in diameter. 
• Height: Compact to Medium. Usually grows to a manageable 2.5 to 3 feet (75–90 cm), though it can reach up to 4 feet in ideal conditions. Its relatively short stature makes it an excellent candidate for large containers and the front of garden borders. 
• Performance: Highly Productive & Early Bloomer. Praised for being one of the first dahlias to flower in the season and continuing to produce abundantly until the first frost. While its stems are famously strong and straight, it may require "pinching" early on to ensure the stems reach a preferred length for floral design.
