Lee's Strawberry Frizz

The Lee's Strawberry Fizz dahlia (often referred to by enthusiasts as Lee's Strawberry Frizz due to its texture) is a playful and eye-catching variety introduced by breeder Lee Hemmings Carlton of Goldenrod Gardens in 2022. It is celebrated for its joyful pink color and unique, fringed petals that create a "fizzy" or sparkling appearance, making it a favorite for adding movement and interest to both garden beds and bouquets. 

• Color: Pink (PK). A bright, joyful, and saturated pink that remains vibrant throughout the season.
• Form: Laciniated (LC). Features finely fringed and delicately cut petals that give each bloom a distinctively textured, "fizzy" look.
• ADS Classification: M LC PK (Miniature Laciniated Pink).
• Bloom Size: Miniature (M). Small, perfectly sized blooms that consistently measure approximately 3 inches (7.5 cm) in diameter.
• Height: Tall. Typically grows on a strong, vigorous plant reaching approximately 4 to 5 feet (120–150 cm) tall.
• Performance: Highly Vigorous Grower. Known for being an exceptionally resilient variety, it is often cited by growers as one of the most reliable rooted cuttings, capable of thriving "at any cost". It produces multiple flushes of long-lasting flowers on strong stems, making it an excellent candidate for cut-flower production
