The Lee's Savannah Spring dahlia (often referred to simply as Lee's Savannah) is a radiant and "color-shifting" variety introduced by breeder Lee Carlton of Goldenrod Gardens (USA). It is celebrated for its sun-drenched, peachy-golden hues and its ability to change appearance based on heat and light—making it a dynamic addition to summer and autumn bouquets.
- Color: Light Blend (LB). A true "shape-shifter" that throws a blend of yellow, peach, and coral. Freshly opened blooms are often saturated with peachy-golden tones, while flowers left in the heat can transition into a more "worn" and soft antique look.
- Form: Laciniated (LC). Features finely cut or fringed petal tips that give the flower a textured, "fizzy" appearance.
- ADS Classification: B LC LB (Medium Laciniated Light Blend).
- Bloom Size: Medium (B). Substantial blooms that typically measure between 6 to 8 inches (15–20 cm) in diameter.
- Height: Medium/Tall. Grows on a robust plant typically reaching around 4 feet (120 cm) in height.
- Performance: Striking and Unique Producer. Known for its high-energy appearance and reliable stems. It is a favorite among trial growers for its "pure sunshine" energy and its status as a rare beauty in the laciniated category.
