Lees ember

The Lee's Ember dahlia is a fiery and high-impact variety introduced by Lee Carlton of Goldenrod Gardens in 2023. It is celebrated for its smoldering, rich tones and bold petal contrast, bringing a dramatic warmth to late-summer gardens and floral designs.

• Color: Flame (FL) / Rusty Red. A glowing blend of rusty copper and deep red, often highlighted with a rich, smoldering rose or bronze undertone that mimics the appearance of glowing embers.
• Form: Formal Decorative (FD). A classic, symmetrical bloom with neatly layered petals that provide striking depth and visual energy
• Bloom Size: Miniature (M). Petite, high-count blooms typically measure approximately 3 inches (7.5 cm) in diameter.
• Height: Tall. A vigorous grower that reaches approximately 4 to 5 feet (120–150 cm) tall, requiring staking to support its height
• Performance: Consistent & Reliable Cut Flower. Praised for being a prolific producer of uniform blooms on long, strong stems. Like other varieties from the "Lee's" collection, it is noted for its sturdy plant habit and excellent tuber production.
