Kelgai Anne

Kelgai Anne was introduced in 2004 by Australian hybridizers D & M Kelly.

Characteristics:

Form: Waterlily (WL)—double blooms with broad, gently curved petals arranged in a saucer-like silhouette.

Color: Light Blend (LB) of Blush, Pink, and White. Flowers are often described as having soft blush pink with darker pink streaks. A delicate blush pink base with darker pink streaks, creating a soft watercolor effect. The coloration is subtle and painterly, with each bloom offering a slightly different blend of tones depending on light and maturity.

Bloom Size: Medium, typically 4 to 5 inches (10–13 cm) across.

Height: Upright grower, reaching 4 to 5 feet (120–150 cm).

Performance: Blooms face upward, making them ideal for cutting and display. Best harvested when three-quarters open for a vase life of about 5 days. Thrives in full sun and well-drained soil. Due to its delicate tuber structure, it requires careful storage and may not perform consistently in all climates.
