The Kari Blue dahlia is an ethereal and highly sought-after variety introduced by Daphne Smythe in 1993. It’s celebrated for its unique, cool-toned lilac hues and luminous, "glowing" appearance—a favorite for floral designers aiming for an airy, sophisticated aesthetic.

• Color: Lavender (L). A soft, luminous lilac-purple that carries a fresh, cool tone. While named "Blue," it is actually a distinct shade of lavender that lightens beautifully as the bloom matures.
