KA Keltie Cherry

The KA’s Keltie Cherry dahlia is a sophisticated and moody variety introduced by Kristine Albrecht of Santa Cruz Dahlias around 2020. As the "sister" to the popular KA's Keltie Rose, it is highly sought after by designers for its unique, vintage color and long, florist-grade stems

• Color: Deep Raspberry / Smoky Cherry (DB). A rich, dark blend of moody raspberry and smokey cherry-red. It often features a hint of yellow undertone and can fade to a gorgeous burnt sienna as the weather cools in autumn.
• Form: Formal Decorative (FD). A perfectly formed bloom with dense, honeycombed petals that are often slightly quilled, giving it a more textured appearance than its relatives.
• ADS Classification: M FD DB. Classified as a Miniature Formal Decorative Dark Blend.
• Bloom Size: Miniature (M). Elegant, rounded blooms that typically measure 3 to 3.5 inches (7.5–9 cm) in diameter, making them ideal for wedding work and mixed market bouquets.
• Height: Tall. A vigorous and "towering" plant that consistently reaches 5 to 6 feet (150–180 cm) in height.
• Performance: High-Production Designer Cut. Known for its exceptional vigor and production of very long, strong stems. It is a reliable early bloomer and is considered a great seed producer for those interested in dahlia.
