KA Cloud

The KA’s Cloud dahlia is a breathtaking, large-scale variety introduced by Kristine Albrecht of Santa Cruz Dahlias in 2015 (formally registered in 2021). It is a top-tier bridal favorite, often compared to 'Café au Lait' for its romantic appeal, but praised for having sturdier stems and more reliable blooming habits. 

• Color: White (W) / Pale Blush. A luminous, pearlescent white featuring a delicate blush-pink or lavender shimmer, particularly at the center and petal tips. 
• Form: Informal Decorative (ID). Features wide, slightly wavy or curled petals that create a soft, fluffy, and "cloud-like" silhouette. ADS Classification: 1101.
• Bloom Size: Large (A). Massive, high-impact flowers typically reaching 8 to 10 inches (20–25 cm) in diameter, firmly placing it in the dinnerplate category. 
• Height: Tall. A vigorous plant that grows to approximately 4 to 5 feet (120–150 cm) tall.
• Performance: High-Impact Wedding Workhorse. Celebrated for its exceptional productivity and long, strong stems that support the heavy blooms well. It is a prolific bloomer from late summer until the first frost and is considered a must-have for event design.
