KA Cinder Rose

The KA’s Cinder Rose dahlia is a spellbinding and highly productive variety introduced by Kristine Albrecht of Santa Cruz Dahlias in 2024. It is widely celebrated as a "must-grow" for floral designers due to its unique, smoky pastel palette and exceptional reliability as a cut flower. 

• Color: Light Blend (LB) / Smoky Mauve. A sophisticated blend of blush, mauve, and dusty pink, often highlighted by the faintest golden or "lemony" tips. The color is dynamic, shifting from muted mauve in the early season to a pinker hue as the weather cools.
• Form: Formal Decorative (FD). Features a tight, symmetrical structure with neatly layered petals that rarely open at the center, maintaining a refined "ball-like" appearance.
• ADS Classification: 4013. Classified as a Miniature (M) Formal Decorative Light Blend.
• Bloom Size: Miniature (M). Elegant blooms typically measure 3.5 to 4 inches (9–10 cm) in diameter, making them an ideal scale for bridal bouquets and centerpieces.
• Height: Tall. A robust and vigorous plant that reaches approximately 4 feet (120 cm) tall.
• Performance: Elite Early-Blooming Workhorse. Renowned for its "monster" vigor and early production, often blooming within 55 days of transplanting. It is a prolific producer of long, strong stems and is noted for its excellent vase life and performance in hot climates.
