The Janick’s Symphony dahlia is a romantic and ethereal variety hybridized by van de Vegte in the Netherlands in 2005. Often described as a "melody of petals," it is highly prized for its soft, gradient coloring and fluffy, symmetrical blooms that bring a sense of pure romance to wedding floristry and elegant cottage gardens
- Color: White (W) / Soft Blush Pink Blend. A delicate base of creamy white that is gently suffused with a tender blush pink. The color often deepens toward the center, creating a stunning gradient that fades softly at the petal tips as the flower matures.
- Form: Ball (BA) / Small Formal Decorative. Features tightly packed, symmetrical petals that form a classic, polished sphere. While frequently classified as a ball, some growers also categorize its tidy structure as formal decorative.
- Bloom Size: Small (BB). The perfectly formed blooms typically measure around 4 inches (10 cm) in diameter.
- Height: Medium/Tall. A robust, upright grower that generally reaches between 3.5 to 4.5 feet (105–135 cm) in height.
- Performance: Prolific Wedding Staple. Celebrated for its high production and long, elegant stems that are perfect for cutting. It is a reliable "workhorse" variety, noted for unfolding slowly and maintaining its beauty late into the season
