Irish Speckles

The Irish Speckles dahlia is a playful and eye-catching variety created by hybridizers Steve and Sandy Boley in 2007. This Derrill W. Hart medal winner is celebrated for its unique, artistic patterns and whimsical appearance, making it a "must-have" for adding charm and texture to any cut-flower garden.

• Color: Variegated (V). Crisp white or very pale lavender petals are generously "dusted" with speckles, flecks, and dots of dark purple or magenta. The pattern is dynamic, ensuring that no two blooms are exactly alike.
• Form: Pompon (P). Features petite, perfectly spherical heads with tightly rolled petals that form a neat "lollipop" shape. ADS Classification: 6214.
• Bloom Size: Pompon. Tiny, dainty blooms that measure up to 2 inches (5 cm) in diameter.
• Height: Medium. Grows to a manageable height of 2.5 to 3.5 feet (75–105 cm).
• Performance: Prolific Specialty Cut Flower. Highly valued for its heavy production of small, sturdy blooms on clean stems. Its long vase life and unique "speckled" look make it a favorite for adding intricate detail to bouquets.
