Hollyhill Snow Queen

The Hollyhill Snow Queen dahlia is an exquisite and regal variety introduced by the legendary hybridizers Ted and Margaret Kennedy of Hollyhill Dahlias in 2024. It is celebrated for its pristine, sculptural form and "ethereal" presence—a true favorite for both exhibition benches and high-end bridal floral design. 

• Color: White (W) / Blush. A luminous, pure ivory-white that often reveals a delicate, soft pink or lavender-blush tint at the center during cooler weather or early in the season.
• Form: Waterlily (WL). Features broad, symmetrical petals with a lush, layered arrangement that gives the bloom a sophisticated and classic waterlily appearance. ADS Classification: 7301 (White Waterlily).
• Bloom Size: Small (BB) or Waterlily. Blooms are substantial and typically measure around 4 to 5 inches (10–13 cm) in diameter.
• Height: Tall. Grows to an impressive height of approximately 4 to 5 feet (120–150 cm), requiring sturdy staking to support its heavy production.
  
• Performance: Productive and Show-Worthy. Praised for its exceptional substance and form, it produces an abundance of blooms on long, strong stems. It is highly regarded as a reliable "cutting queen" with a long vase life.
