The Hapet Graciella dahlia is a radiant and sophisticated variety introduced by the celebrated Austrian hybridizer Peter Haslhofer in 2020. It is distinguished by its glowing, sunset-toned blooms and large, lush flower head that brings a warm, elegant presence to both exhibition gardens and cut flower arrangements.
- Color: Orange (OR) / Salmon / Peach. A stunning, luminous salmon-orange or "lachsorange" that radiates from the center, often described as having a golden or peachy glow that catches the light.
- Form: Formal Decorative (FD). Features broad, flat-tipped petals that are regularly arranged to create a full, symmetrical, and dense bloom. ADS Classification: FD (Formal Decorative).
- Bloom Size: Large (A) or Medium (B). Typically produces impressive blooms ranging from 6 to 8 inches (15–20 cm) in diameter, making it significantly larger than many other "Hapet" varieties.
- Height: Tall. A sturdy and vigorous plant that reaches approximately 4.25 to 5 feet (130–150 cm) in height.
- Performance: Showy & Reliable Cut Flower. Despite its larger size, it performs exceptionally well as a cut flower, supported by thick, strong stems. It is a prolific producer that maintains its "pure gold" beauty and form throughout the peak growing season.
