The Glenmarc Divine dahlia is a dreamy and ethereal variety hybridized by the late Alf Hardingham in Portland, Victoria, Australia, around 2005. It is celebrated for its soft, pastel coloration, exceptionally tall growth, and "stems to die for"—making it a highly anticipated and prized addition to both exhibition gardens and professional cut flower farms.
- Color: Lavender (L) / Pale Purple / Silver. A stunning pale silvery-lilac or soft lavender bloom with a blush undertone and a creamy white center.
- Form: Miniature Decorative (M FD). Features perfectly arranged, flat-tipped petals that create a full and symmetrical double bloom. ADS Classification: FD (Formal Decorative).
- Bloom Size: Miniature (M). Blooms are typically small and dainty, measuring approximately 3 to 4.5 inches (8–11.5 cm) in diameter.
- Height: Extremely Tall. A vigorous grower that frequently reaches 5 to 6 feet (150–180 cm) tall and may require extra support or staking.
- Performance: Superb Cut Flower. Highly praised for its long, strong stems and prolific blooming habit from summer through autumn. It is noted for its excellent vase life and its ability to produce large, healthy tubers.
