Florelie Nectar

The Florelie Nectar dahlia is a warm and inviting new variety released in 2025 by Australian breeder Lorelie Merton of Florelie Seasonal Flowers. It is highly favored by florists for its soft, "glowy" color and its reliability as a productive cut flower.

• Color: Soft Warm Orange / Pale Peach. A beautiful, muted pale orange that is similar in tone to Bracken Palomino but with a unique, luminous quality. This specific shade of orange is often requested by florists for its ability to blend seamlessly into "sunset" or autumnal palettes.
• Form: Informal Miniature Decorative (M ID). Features relaxed, slightly wavy petals that give the bloom a soft, less rigid appearance compared to formal varieties. It is noted for blooms held on a good angle and strong attachment to the stems.
• Bloom Size: Miniature. Compact blooms that are smaller than Bracken Palomino, making them an ideal size for bouquets and tabletop arrangements.
• Height: Tall. A vigorous plant that typically grows between 3.2 to 5 feet (100–150 cm) tall.
• Performance: Productive Cut Flower Workhorse. Known for its long, straight stems that are often a contrasting darker color, making the blooms pop. While it is a reliable producer for picking, it is generally not recommended for the show bench due to its informal form.
