Florelie Mandarin

The Florelie Mandarin dahlia is a vibrant and high-yielding variety officially released in 2025 by Australian breeder Lorelie Merton of Florelie Seasonal Flowers. It is celebrated for its shifting seasonal colors and exceptionally productive growth habit, making it a favorite for mass-harvesting. 

• Color: Golden-Orange / Red-Flushed. The bloom’s appearance evolves throughout the season: early blooms feature deeper orange tones with a red flush at the center, while later blooms transition into a brighter golden-yellow.
• Form: Miniature Decorative (M FD). A compact, fully double bloom with neatly arranged petals.
• Bloom Size: Miniature. Small, uniform flowers that are perfectly scaled for mixed bouquets and harvest-heavy flower farm production.
• Height: Medium to Tall. A vigorous plant with a strong, upright habit. Typical of the series, it generally reaches between 3.5 to 5 feet (105–150 cm) tall and requires staking.
• Performance: High-Volume Cut Flower. Distinguished by its ability to flower early in the season and produce numerous straight, harvest-ready stems simultaneously on a single plant.
