Florelie Café Violette

The Florelie Café Violette dahlia is an elegant and sophisticated variety released in 2023 by Australian breeder Lorelie Merton of Florelie Seasonal Flowers. It is celebrated for its romantic, "antique" coloring and its role as a perfect moody companion to the famous Café au Lait.

• Color: Dusky Mauve / Antique Violet. A soft, muted purple with smoky undertones. The coloring is described as a "watercolour" blend of lavender and dusty rose, often featuring a darker violet center that glows against the paler outer petals.
• Form: Small Decorative (SD). Features broad, slightly wavy petals that create a lush, pillowy, and romantic appearance.
• Bloom Size: Small. Blooms typically measure 4 to 6 inches (10–15 cm) in diameter. It is often described as having a similar "shabby chic" vibe to Café au Lait but in a more manageable, smaller size for bouquets.
• Height: Tall. A vigorous grower that reaches approximately 3.5 to 5 feet (105–150 cm) tall.
