Fawn Dahlia is a waterlily-type bloom that glows with soft elegance and creamy warmth. It was hybridized by Knowles and introduced in the USA in 1971.
Color: Peachy-Pink Blend. The colour is a romantic, nuanced blend of apricot, beige, and creamy latte hues with a darker pink/coral center. The colour often shifts as the bloom ages on the stem.
Form: Waterlily (WL). This form is characterized by double, symmetrical blooms with broad, slightly cupped, and often pointed petals that have a delicate, refined appearance. It has a high petal count and excellent structure.
Bloom Size: Small to Medium, typically 4 to 5 inches (10–12.5 cm) in diameter. (ADS Waterlily classification, usually falling in the M or BB size range).
Height: Tall, growing to about 4 to 5 feet (120–150 cm).
Performance: Considered a florist favourite due to its perfect form, long, strong stems, and beautiful, shifting colour palette.
