Crème de Cognac is an informal decorative bloom that glows with smoky warmth and autumnal elegance. This cultivar originated in Holland (the Netherlands).
Color: A complex light blend of colours. The front of the petals is a mix of smoky-gold, apricot, peach, and copper, sharply contrasted by a reverse side and deep center of cranberry, wine-red, or burgundy.
Form: Informal Decorative (ID) or sometimes classified as Waterlily (WL). It has fully double, cupped blooms with layered petals that are slightly wavy.
Bloom Size: Small (BB), with flowers typically measuring 3 to 4 inches (7.5–10 cm) in diameter.
Height: Medium to Short, generally growing between 2.5 and 4 feet (75–120 cm) tall.
Performance: An excellent cut flower and a prolific bloomer. It is known to be an early bloomer in the season and is a recipient of the RHS Award of Garden Merit (AGM).
