Coral Charm was hybridized by Samuel Wissing and introduced in 1964. I

Color: Vibrant Color Transformation. The bloom opens as a spectacular, deep coral-pink or brilliant orange-coral. Over several days, it gradually transitions through shades of peach, salmon, and apricot, eventually fading to a soft, creamy pale yellow before the petals drop.

Form: Semi-Double. The large, cup-shaped flower has multiple rows of satiny, incurved petals surrounding a central boss of bright golden-yellow stamens.

Bloom Size: Large, with flowers easily reaching 6 to 8 inches (15–20 cm) in diameter.

Height: Medium to Tall, typically growing 30 to 36 inches (75–90 cm) tall.

Performance: An Early-Mid Season bloomer. Highly valued as a cut flower due to its strong, rigid stems (often needing no staking), excellent vase life, and is a winner of the American Peony Society Gold Medal (1986).
