The Coorabell Caitlyn dahlia is a stunning and relatively rare variety from the Coorabell series bred by Steven and Bruce Wedd in New South Wales. It is highly regarded by florists for its unique, "dusty" color and has a strong track record as a successful exhibition bloom.
- Color: Dusty Pink / Mauve. A beautiful shade of dusty pink with a yellow base. Under cooler conditions, it can develop an ethereal light mauve glow or reveal subtle white tips.
- Form: Small Decorative (SD). Neatly formed with symmetrical petals; it is officially exhibited as a "Small Decorative," though it can sometimes push toward "Medium" in size.
- Bloom Size: Small to Medium. Blooms typically range from 5 to 6.3 inches (130–160 mm) in diameter.
- Height: Medium to Tall. Usually grows between 3.3 to 5 feet (100–150 cm) tall and requires support due to its vigorous habit.
- Performance: Reliable Show & Florist Variety. Celebrated for its success on the show bench and its popularity with florists. It is noted for producing good stems, though it has a less "bushy" habit than some of its sisters, which can be helpful for airflow and disease resistance.
