Coorabel Astrid was hybridized by Steven Wedd and introduced in Australia.
Color: Light Blend (LB) - Soft Peach, Buttercream Yellow, and Pink. The blooms feature a delicate mix of buttery yellow and pale peach/pink hues, creating a soft, glowing, and distinctly pastel effect. The colour can lean more yellow in hotter climates.
Form: Decorative (Medium/Formal). Most sources classify it as a Decorative or Formal Decorative (FD) form, characterized by its full, neatly petaled bloom.
Bloom Size: Miniature to Small (BB). The blooms typically measure 4 to 5 inches (10–13 cm) in diameter, sometimes described as miniature decorative (100–120mm).
Height: Tall, typically growing between 3 to 5.5 feet (1–1.7 meters) tall.
Performance: A highly reliable and floriferous variety that blooms from the early season until the first frost. It is extremely popular with florists and growers for its lovely colour, strong stems, and excellent performance as a cut flower.
