The Clovis is a sophisticated and luminous variety introduced by Ernest Turc in France in 1996. It is celebrated for its sun-drenched coloring and refined, floating appearance—making it a distinctive choice for high-end landscaping and serene garden displays.
- Color: Golden Yellow (Y). A brilliant, solid gold-yellow that remains consistent throughout the bloom, often appearing brighter and more intense in the center.
- Form: Waterlily (WL). A graceful, saucer-shaped bloom with broad, slightly cupped petals that create a delicate, open-faced appearance similar to a waterlily.
- Bloom Size: Small to Medium (BB/B). Blooms typically measure between 4 to 6 inches (10–15 cm) in diameter.
- Height: Tall. A vigorous grower that reaches approximately 4.3 to 5 feet (130–150 cm) tall, providing excellent vertical interest.
- Performance: Elegant Garden Standout. Known for its sturdy, upright stems and "glowy" presence in the garden; it is a reliable late-season bloomer that pairs beautifully with deep purple or blue companion plants
