Chateau de la Bourdaisiere was hybridized by Ernest Turc from France. The dahlia is named after the famous Château de la Bourdaisière in the Loire Valley.

Color: Soft Apricot-Peach to Warm Pink. The blooms feature a delicate, glowing blend of apricot and peach tones, often deepening to a warm pink or subtle salmon in the center. The colour is soft, classy, and highly versatile for arrangements.

Form: Waterlily (WL) / Flat Decorative. The petals are flat, broad, and gracefully arranged in a way that resembles a waterlily, offering a refined, open presentation.

Bloom Size: Small to Medium, typically around 4 inches (10 cm) across, making it ideal for cutting.

Height: Tall, growing to about 4 to 5 feet (1.2–1.5 meters) tall, with long, sturdy, and often dark stems.

Performance: Cut flower quality is excellent. A vigorous performer that offers a profusion of flowers and a consistent bloom habit throughout the season.
