CB Aslan

The CB Aslan dahlia is a striking and unique variety bred by Warwick Dahlias (Warwick Flower Farm) in British Columbia. It is highly sought after by collectors for its shaggy, "lion-like" appearance and its vivid, sunset-inspired tones that add dramatic texture to any garden.

• Color: Light Blend (LB). A breathtaking mix of warm tones, featuring golden-yellow and bright orange or peachy-coral hues that blend seamlessly across the petals.
• Form: Laciniated (LC) / Cactus. Classified as a cactus-type dahlia with distinctively "fimbriated" or split petal tips, giving the bloom a fuzzy, fringed, or shaggy quality. ADS Classification: 1210.
• Bloom Size: Large (A). These substantial blooms are quite large, often reaching 8 to 10 inches (20–25 cm) in diameter, making them a standout "dinnerplate" style variety.
• Height: Tall. A vigorous grower that typically reaches 3 to 5 feet (90–150 cm) tall and requires sturdy staking to support its heavy, oversized blooms.
