Bracken Sonya Luis

The Bracken Sonya Luise (sometimes spelled Sonya Louise or Sonya Luis) is an exceptionally rare and highly sought-after dahlia variety bred by Neville Naumann in Bracken Ridge, Queensland. It is considered a "collector’s dahlia" due to its limited availability and its delicate, romantic coloring.

• Color: Warm Soft Pink. Features a glowing, "marshmallow" or warm candy-pink hue that remains soft and consistent throughout the bloom.
• Form: Small Decorative. A classic, tidy double bloom with petals that are neatly arranged and symmetrically layered.
• Bloom Size: Small. Blossoms typically measure approximately 4 to 6 inches (10–15 cm) in diameter.
• Height: Tall. A vigorous, upright plant that reaches between 4 and 6 feet (120–180 cm) tall. Due to its height and abundant blooming, it requires extra support or sturdy staking to prevent it from leaning.
• Performance: High-Volume & Hard-to-Find. While it is a prolific bloomer once established, it is notoriously difficult to find in the commercial trade. It is celebrated by Australian specialty growers for its "heart-melting" beauty and suitability for soft, dreamy floral arrangements.
