The BQ Snickerdoodle (Bloomquist Snickerdoodle) dahlia is a warm and radiant variety hybridized by Paul Bloomquist and introduced in 2025. It is celebrated for its "glowing" presence and painterly, multi-dimensional tones, making it an instant favorite for late-summer garden focal points and high-impact floral designs.

• Color: Orange (OR) / Light Blend. A rich, warm apricot and peachy-orange base with soft cinnamon or honey tones that deepen toward the center. Some growers note salmon and yellow highlights with fuchsia on the petal reverses, adding a multi-dimensional "Dutch Golden Age" quality to the bloom.
• Form: Informal Decorative (ID). Features full, expressive blooms with loosely arranged, wispy petals that give the flower a relaxed and flowing appearance. ADS Classification: 2103.
