BQ Compare

Bloomquist Compare was hybridized by Paul Bloomquist and was introduced in 2021.

Color: Light Blend (LB). A stunning, soft gradient of white, creamy ivory, pink, and lavender/lilac hues. The color shifts with the light: lighter during long summer days, and more intense, deeper lavender as days shorten in the fall.

Form: Formal Decorative (FD). Features perfectly shaped, full, double blooms with densely packed, graceful, and slightly pointed petal tips.

Bloom Size: Medium (B). Typically measures 5 to 6 inches (12.5–15 cm) in diameter. ADS Size Classification: B (Medium, 6–8 inches), though many growers list it closer to 5 inches.

Height: Medium-Tall. Grows to approximately 3 to 4.5 feet (90–135 cm) tall.

Performance: Exceptional Cut Flower. Celebrated for its strong, long stems and exceptional vase life. The blooms are highly prolific, keeping on coming through the fall, and are ideal for wedding work and bouquets due to their soft color palette.
