BQ Award was hybridized by Paul Bloomquist and introduced in 2023. 

Color: Dark Red/Plum-Red (DR) or Wine Red. Known for its incredibly rich, deep, and uniform color.

Form: Ball (BA) or Miniature Ball (MB). Features a dense, fully double, and perfectly rounded shape.

Bloom Size: Small/Miniature. Typically measures around 2 and 1 half inches (6.3 cm) or 3 inches in diameter.

Height: Short-Medium. Grows to approximately 30–36 inches (75–90 cm) tall.

Performance: Praised for its prolific blooming and is noted by growers as an exceptional seed parent for hybridizing new varieties.
