Belle of Barmera was hybridized by Bob Simon and was introduced in 1987.
Color: Dark Pink/Coral Blend (DP). Features warm, sunset hues that transition from a bright coral-raspberry at the outer edges to softer peach and apricot tones toward the center.
Form: Informal Decorative (ID) / Dinnerplate. The petals are loosely rolled, twisting, or wavy, giving the massive bloom a luxurious, ruffled appearance.
Bloom Size: Giant (AA/Dinnerplate). Blooms are exceptionally large, often measuring 8 to over 10 inches (20–25+ cm) in diameter.
Height: Tall. Typically grows to approximately 4 to 5 feet (120–150 cm) tall.
Performance: Dramatic Focal Point. Valued for its huge, showy flowers and tall, sturdy stems, making it an excellent statement flower for large-scale bouquets and garden borders.
