Beehive

The Beehive (or Bee Hive) dahlia is a resilient and captivating miniature ball variety introduced by Nicholas Gitts in 2024. It is highly regarded for its warm, honeycomb-like appearance and its exceptional performance in both American Dahlia Society (ADS) trial gardens and the cutting garden.

• Color: Bronze / Bronze-Orange / Peach. Features a muted shade of burnt orange with soft peach undertones, radiating a warm, rich glow that mimics the look of a natural honeycomb.
• Form: Miniature Ball (MB). A delicate, perfectly rounded sphere with tightly arranged petals forming a compact, symmetrical shape.
• Bloom Size: Miniature (M). Perfectly sized blooms typically measure 3.5 inches (9 cm) in diameter.
• Height: Medium to Tall. While often listed at 3.5 feet (105 cm) in production, it can reach 4.5 to 5 feet (135–150 cm) in optimal garden conditions.
