The ASH Roo dahlia is a sweet and whimsical recent introduction from hybridizer Louisa of ASH Blooms in British Columbia, Canada. Derived from the popular variety Pooh, it is a "seedling sister" that shares its playful spirit but features a softer, more muted color palette, making it a darling addition to garden-style arrangements.
- Color: Yellow / Red / Orange. A charming tricolor blend that is "not quite as bright" as its parent, Pooh. It typically features a sunny yellow base with soft orange-red tips and a warm, glowing center.
- Form: Collarette (CO). Features a single row of flat outer petals surrounding a central disc, with a distinctive inner ring of shorter, ruffled petaloids (the "collar").
- ADS Classification: CO (Collarette).
- Bloom Size: Miniature (M). Small, delicate blooms that typically reach up to 3 to 4 inches (7.5–10 cm) in diameter.
- Height: Mid-Height. A well-proportioned plant that typically reaches approximately 3 to 4 feet (90–120 cm) tall.
- Performance: Prolific Pollinator Magnet. Like most collarette varieties, it is highly attractive to bees and butterflies. It is praised for its abundance of blooms and sturdy stems, making it an excellent "filler" flower that adds movement and a touch of wildness to bouquets
